My new eBook, no charge!

Oct 10, 2012 | Writing

I’m in between two busy Women of Faith weekends and am sneaking in a bit of time to send you this message for one reason—I’m excited to tell you that I’ve finished putting together a free eBook that you can start reading right away!

Storms of Perfection 2 – Highlights is a selection of some of my favorite letters from my previously unavailable book series Storms of Perfection.

It was one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. The concept was that I would send a letter to a successful, usually well-known, person and ask them to send me a letter written on their own stationery (this was before e-mail!) describing the biggest failure or setback they ever experienced.

Storms of Perfection 2

The responses I received were simply extraordinary.

The Highlights volume contains letters from:

  • Dale Earnhardt
  • Bobby Bowden
  • Erma Bombeck
  • Dr. Joyce Brothers
  • Luis Costa
  • Toxey Haas
  • Chi Chi Rodriguez

I hope you enjoy it, and let me know on Facebook and Twitter if you do!

It was one of the oddest moments I can remember. I was 23 years old—and as was often the case during this time, I was deep in conversation with Jones. I can’t recall exactly what he was explaining, but I do remember that I certainly had something to say about…

Yes, the official release date is June 12, but to be assured of obtaining a copy, you can pre-order here right now. “But wait,” you say, “haven’t I read this book before?” My sly, cagey answer would be, “No. No, you haven’t. At least, not this book.” Here’s the story… Eleven years ago,…
