Live Like Kainoa…with Kainoa Spenser

Nov 16, 2020 | The Professional Noticer

This week, Andy hosts Kainoa Spenser—public speaker, peer mentor, and a quadruple amputee—a survivor of necrotizing fasciitis.

Tune in and hear Kainoa share his story of contracting a rare flesh-eating disease, being put into a medically induced coma, and waking up with more adversity than most face in their lifetime.

In this episode, Kainoa recounts his experience of “passing away” twice during complications, then how he turned the situation into a way to help, mentor, and influence people in a positive way—as well as scaling his own mountains…literally!

Connect with Kainoa Spenser through his Charity Organization ‘Live Like Kainoa’ and visit the K2 Adventures Foundation website and see how you can get involved.
