Happy Birthday to Me…and You!

Let’s go ahead and get it out of the way…today is my birthday.

But I’m not writing this to talk about me. I’m writing to talk about you—and, more importantly, something I want you to have!

You see, today isn’t a special day just for me. It’s also a special day for a good buddy of mine, Michael Hyatt. Michael used to be the CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers, the company that has published most of my books (he is currently serving as their chairman).

To make a long story short, I have Michael to thank for allowing my first novel, The Traveler’s Gift, to see the light of day.

My point in telling you about Michael is that a lot of times I am contacted by people who want to get their book published or want to become a speaker or want to share their message in some way. Well, Michael has just released the book that I wish I had been able to give every person who has ever asked me about any of the things I just listed. In fact, this is the book that I wish Icould have read years ago.

It’s called Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World

Guys, I’m telling you about this book as my birthday gift to you. I rarely mention things like this on my blog, so please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t believe this information to be absolutely essential for anyone in publishing, writing, speaking, entertainment, or even the ministry (pastors, I’m looking at you).

As Michael says on the cover, this book is a step-by-step guide for anyone with something to say or sell. And you know what I always say—we’re all in sales. If you’re married, you’re in sales. If you’ve got a good marriage…you’re just better at sales. Ha!

But seriously, this book shows you exactly what to do in order to get your message in front of the biggest possible audience. There’s a reason why Michael has hundreds of thousands of subscribers to his blog—the techniques and strategies he talks about get results.

He’s also doing a special deal now that will get you $375.98 worth of free bonus content if you purchase the book before May 25th and send him a copy of your receipt.
